They were definitely bandwagon jumpers though. Like you said, they started out as power/traditional metal and then suddenly switched to thrash on their third album. Clearly they saw how thrash was exploding in the Bay Area and said "We gotta get on that!" But they still made some good thrash albums despite that. BTW, I can't believe you're wearing a Bret Hart shirt and didn't even mention that's Sting(!) in the Fire in the Hole video(which you showed briefly).

Led Zeppelin and Greta van Fleet were heavily influenced by KINGDOM COME!!!

Very cool list! I'm a fan of the Dio and Tony Martin eras over Ozzy as well, though Sabotage is one of the best from their first lineup (though you couldn't tell by the cover!). Another honorable mention: Blue Oyster Cult, "On Your Feet or On Your Knees." The live versions of 7 Screaming Diz Busters, Subhuman, and ME262 are just face-melting!

Ransom had one of the best debut albums of the late 80s, Oz Fox of Stryper supported the album. And there are several other notable and very under-rated white metal bands, the best of which IMHO is Sacred Warrior. Holy Soldier had some fame and is probably the leader behind Stryper.

Of your top 10 I'd put Skid Row#1, followed by Ratt and White Lion for the top 3
